Meteor Blaster

Meteor Blaster is a compact, arcade-style shooter built as a solo project in Godot 4. Blast incoming meteors for points, collect coins they occasionally drop, and survive as long as you can while the difficulty ramps up the longer you last.

Features:

• Simple, tight controls: move and shoot, nothing to relearn
• Escalating difficulty : meteors fall faster and more often the higher your score climbs
• A shield/invincibility window after taking a hit, so one unlucky moment doesn't end your run instantly
• Coins to collect, with a running wallet that persists between sessions
• Persistent high score tracking
• Full menu flow:  main menu, pause, and game over with restart

Controls:

• A/D or Arrow Keys — move left/right
• Spacebar — shoot
• Escape — pause
